W. WINSTON BRIGGS LAW FIRM SETTLES PERSONAL INJURY CLAIM FOR $750,000

In a confidential settlement, the W. Winston Briggs Law Firm recently settled the personal injury claim of a man injured in a construction site collapse for $750,000. The injured man sustained injuries to his neck and leg in the incident. Attorney W. In an intersection auto accident case where both drivers claimed they had the green light, the W. A bully-suicide case in which the W. Winston Briggs Law Firm represents the family of a boy who committed suicide due to repeated bullying at school was recently featured on the 20/20 news program. In the lawsuit, filed in the Federal Court of Rome, Georgia, the Firm contends on behalf of the family that the boy committed suicide due to his high school failing to take adequate precautions to protect him against bullying at the school. The case is currently pending and has also been featured on CNN's Headline News Network, The Atlanta Journal Constitution and the Christian Science Monitor.

BRIGGS FIRM SPONSORS CYSTIC FIBROSIS BIKE RIDE

The W. Winston Briggs Law Firm proudly sponsored the Cystic Fibrosis Cycle for Life Bike Ride that took place in Peachtree City, Georgia in October, 2010. The bike ride benefited the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and raised more than $80,000 for that foundation. The W. Winston Briggs Law Firm plans to sponsor the CF Cycle for Life Ride again in 2011.
